This Refund Policy explains how Danfe Consulting handles refund requests for consultations, professional services, education support, migration assistance and related client services.

Business Danfe Consulting
Last Updated 1 June 2026
Applies To Clients, applicants, consultation bookings and service agreements

1. Purpose of this Policy

This Refund Policy sets out when a refund may or may not be available for services provided by Danfe Consulting.

It applies to consultation fees, professional service fees, administrative fees, education support services, migration assistance services and related service charges paid to Danfe Consulting.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or modify your rights under Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

2. Professional Service Fees

Danfe Consulting may charge professional fees for advice, consultation, document review, application preparation, admission support, visa support, case assessment, strategy work or administrative assistance.

Professional service fees are generally charged for the time, expertise, resources and work completed by our team. Once work has commenced, fees may be partly or fully non-refundable depending on the stage of service completed.

3. When Refunds May Be Available

A refund may be considered where:

  • A payment was made in error or duplicate payment was received.
  • A service was paid for but Danfe Consulting has not started any work.
  • Danfe Consulting is unable to provide the agreed service.
  • The client cancels before any consultation, advice, review, preparation or administrative work has commenced.
  • A refund is required under Australian Consumer Law or another applicable legal obligation.

4. When Refunds May Not Be Available

A refund may not be available where:

  • Consultation, advice or assessment has already been provided.
  • Documents have been reviewed, prepared, drafted or checked.
  • Application work has commenced or been submitted.
  • Communication with education providers, government departments or third parties has already occurred.
  • The client changes their mind after work has started.
  • The client fails to provide required documents or information on time.
  • The client provides false, incomplete or misleading information.
  • An application, admission, visa, skills assessment or third-party decision is refused, delayed or unsuccessful.

5. No Refund for Outcome-Based Decisions

Danfe Consulting does not control decisions made by the Department of Home Affairs, education providers, skills assessment authorities, professional bodies, government departments or other third-party organisations.

Unless required by law, professional fees are not refunded simply because an application is refused, delayed, withdrawn, unsuccessful or not decided within the expected timeframe.

We do not guarantee visa approvals, admission outcomes, scholarships, skills assessment results, processing times or third-party decisions.

6. Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has taken place, because professional time, advice and resources have already been provided.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, you should notify Danfe Consulting as early as possible. Late cancellations, missed appointments or no-shows may not be refundable.

7. Third-Party Fees and Government Charges

Fees paid to third parties are subject to the refund rules of that third party. These may include:

  • Government application charges.
  • Education provider application or enrolment fees.
  • Tuition fees.
  • Health examination fees.
  • Police check fees.
  • English test fees.
  • Skills assessment fees.
  • Translation, courier, legal, insurance or document verification fees.

Danfe Consulting is not responsible for refunding third-party fees unless those fees were incorrectly charged by Danfe Consulting and are legally refundable.

9. Client Change of Mind

If you change your mind after engaging Danfe Consulting, refund eligibility will depend on the service agreement, work already completed, resources allocated and costs incurred.

A change of mind does not automatically entitle you to a full refund once professional work has commenced.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our services may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If services are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for a disclosed purpose, or are not supplied within a reasonable time where no time was agreed, you may have rights to a remedy.
